Tushetian kilims at the HALI Fair Online – 25 June 2021

HALI Fair Online opens this week: a new virtual event hosted by HALI magazine running 23-27 June 2021. The Fair sees thirty-four of the world’s most respected specialist dealers exhibiting more than 1,200 vetted antique rugs and textiles. The dealers will be on hand to chat with visitors to their virtual stands during the Fair. 

As part of HALI Fair Online, a special Event will feature rare and strikingly graphic flatweave rugs woven in the mountainous Georgian region of Tusheti from the archives of the Ethnographic Museum in Tbilisi, displayed alongside examples from three private collections in an exclusive gallery exhibition with commentary from Dr Irina Koshoridze, Chief Curator of the Oriental Collections at the Georgian National Museum.
